Good news for cricket fans around the world. The second test between India and South Africa began after a rain-affected first session. Vijay is batting on 96 and Pujara on 62 with India marching on towards a good total at 190 for 1.

Earlier, the start of the second day’s play in the second and final cricket Test between India and South Africa was today delayed due to rain in Durban on Friday.

Play was to start half and hour earlier than scheduled after a curtailed opening day on Thursday.

Only 61 of the regulation 90 overs were bowled on the first day with India reaching 181 for one.

The two teams had played out a thrilling draw in the opening Test.
